Furness First Aid Association

Furness First Aid Association was setup in 2018 and were previously known as BAE First Aid Corps but following the decision by BAE to disband the BAE First Aid Corps; Furness First Aid Association was born, We are an independent service provider providing first-aid training courses led by our fantastic and experienced tutors. We also provide first aid cover for community events across Barrow and the South Lakes.

We provide fully trained and qualified first aiders for events across Barrow and South Cumbria. We are experienced in providing first aid cover for events having covered many events over the years including Keswick to Barrow Walk, Walk to Remember for St Mary's Hospice, Barrow, Dalton and Ulverston Carnivals, Fudstock Music Festival to name just a few. We also provide trained first aider volunteers at The Forum theatre and arts venue in the town.  We have gained a lot of trust over the years and we work closely with event organisers and other stakeholders to provide the right level of cover for each event that we are asked to attend.

As well as providing first aid cover we also provide OFQUAL accredited first aid training courses for individuals and businesses including First Aid At Work, Paediatric First Aid.
