Welcome to Furness First Aid Association

We provide OFQUAL accredited first-aid training courses and first aid cover for community events. Our dedicated, friendly and hardworking volunteers spare over 100 hours of their time to volunteer with us providing first aid cover for events across Barrow and South Cumbria all whilst holding down full-time jobs and bringing up their own children, grandchildren. We have covered many events over the years such as Keswick to Barrow, local carnivals, Walk to Remember, concerts and much more. We are proud to serve the people of Cumbria and pride ourselves on providing a professional service to our clients.

Fully Qualified Staff

All of our staff are fully trained to level 3 or 4 in First Aid and our qualifications are nationally recognised.

We train our staff and volunteers to the highest standards and regularly update their knowledge and understanding through regular training to ensure that their skills and knowledge are up to date.
